Wtf dude ? I've got a 9950X3D, 96gb of ddr5 @ 7200mhz cl36, 7900xtx chunt mod at 600watts, going to CachyOs or any linux distro optimized for games are running games 10 to 30% better than on W11 hands down ..

Doubt that would make a difference as the anti-cheat isn't designed for Linux and EA have actively pushed against supporting Linux themselves explicitly.

And overspending for a fraction more performance without ever using it 🙃

The 5070 Ti offers 2-4% performance across some games compared to my RX 9070 XT yet costs £250 more lol (comparing the cheapest models on Overlockers), imagine falling for that and getting bent over that hard.
Not gonna happen, Charlie, already been discussed here why.

Agree OP. Devs need to get a clue. From what I'm seeing on youtube and gaming forums, there appears to be a shift about to happen. Many gamers are not going to upgrade to Winspy 11. I'm going to run Win10 as long as I feel comfortable but after 30+ years of Windows I'm currently researching/learning about Linux for my next gaming PC build.

They do have a clue though.
Windows 11 has a share of 69.76% with a +2.02% since last month
Windows 10 has a share of 23.99% with a -1.64% decrease since last month
Linux only has a 3.99% share and actual saw a -0.53% decrease since last month.

These are only the people willing to take the hardware survey though. Linux users tend to be more privacy and security oriented so they will chose to not take the survey more than Windows users do.
And what? Some people on Windows also refuse to take the survey and ratio between Windows (94%) and Linux (4%) users is obvioulsy significant
