I just got banned in BF6 (update)

drkappaa · 12 Oct 2025 at 06:15 · permalink

Update (editing post #2): game refunded.
I will just continue to play on Xbox instead of PC to avoid any unknown issues. So far no problems. Game is fun, having a blast playing with my son, brother-in-law, old man, and friends.
Update (editing post) I am including helping context in which has been provided by me and other players from EA forums, where screenshots have been provided to help players in similar situations.
Currently EA is investigating the lack of option to be able to submit an appeal through your logged in account. The only way to do so is by “continue as guest”. If your account has been compromised, you will need to submit a “compromised account” case, but if you have a ban, EA Advisors will not help you. Instead you will be redirected to go through The appeal process with TOS.
Even if your penalty history shows none, make sure to download your EA data, look at your activity log, and check your ban type. Once you submit your appeal case, they will tell you their findings, which will then appear on your penalty history.
In my situation, my activity log showed logins from a different state I do not live in, and I provided my driver's license to show proof of my residency. Because of this, my case has been transferred, and my penalty page now shows none, as it initially did before my appeal.
It looks like we are heading in the right direction. To avoid trolls from continuing to hijack this post, I have opened my profile from friends only to the public. It shows screen time, but I have not physically played it. Under my friends list, I have my children that I play with who have similar names as mine. No, I am not a Cronos user. I’m not a cheater; I was hacked.
What I have on computer:
Steam, and steam games.
Xbox app
Xbox elite controller command center
Asus armory crate (motherboard)
NXZT command center (RGB Kraken cooler)
CORSAIR command center (RGB lighting)
Razer command center (RGB keyboard and mouse)
Nvidia control center
Google chrome
Original post below:
Preordered the Phantom Edition on Steam, logged in for the very first time, and was given the "Your account has been disabled
Activity on this account has violated EA's User Agreement. We've permanently blocked access to this product." There is no customer service phone number, no live chat, nothing. I spent over $100 playing "0" minutes. I downloaded my data to try to figure out the reason for the "competitive advantage." I submitted a "case," and no response came back. I checked penalties, none, and checked cases, none. What kind of nonsense is this?
If you have X, join my threads/posts/replies and reply with your experiences. My posts are starting to get traction and currently have over 2k impressions.I am including Vince Zampella, EA, EAhelp, Battlefield, Battlefield Community, and other major channels.

Are you using a program that locks your frames by chance? I saw a few people post about getting banned for that.

EA Javelin is spaghetti code ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, that’s why.

Seems like a lot of that going around, really unfortunate for innocent players who just wanna play. And now you have to deal with trying to contact support about it, this is a bummer man.

No, I have never had this problem before in any game. I don't play much, and I'm not a hardcore gamer. I just logged on and was kicked off as soon as the main menu launched.

too many people being banned before they even play
Ive got a feeling that if you have been banned on past Battlefield games then you will also be banned from future titles such as this
your only option is to refund the game and purchase on another platform such as EA
or wait for your support ticket, but I doubt they will even respond to it
they say bans are final, no appeals, though a support ticket might be looked at or ignored
or like Zero mentioned, you might have somthing on your PC that has been clocked by Javlin, you see this TPM and secure boot thing might also be connected

EA Javelin is the kernel level anti cheat in this game. Kernel Level meaning it has complete access to your pc, any number of applications can be considered a “cheat” and get you banned without warning. It’s been happening to many people, meanwhile, the game is rampant with cheaters.

I know someone that has the same issue as of 15 minutes ago.
Something about them losing connection mid-campaign and when they went to back in they had the ban notification. Hopefully that fix soon

You can dispute the charge with a credit card and most will do it but tell you they will not allow activity with that merchant again for a period of time. The particulars do not matter, you are in a "money for nothing situation" and they will do it. I am not saying you did or did not do anything but them credit card companies are not stupid, if a person was using the same card to buy or pay for a cheat ... a good card company would 100% see that because it's part of their paperwork they do for every dispute and drop you and report it to the credit bureau. Goodbye American Express hello Capital One.

The last BF game I played was BF3. I have never been banned on any game. Sounds like I am out of luck on $100. I assume I would need to create a new EA and steam account to even be able to play, and then spend another $100…..I have submitted a refund request, and hopefully don't need to be out of pocket $200. I just want to play.
As for javelin, I'm not techie so I will need to google what that means. I don't have anything on my computer other than the few games I play.

Thank you for the explanation, though I don't have anything other than like 4-5 Steam games.
