The game is so dead, I think it's the BF with the biggest drop on active player.
From 300.000 player to 30-50k in less than a year... so many complaint on every aspect of the game...
All the veteran agreed to say that this BF play like a CoD...
The last good BF was BF1...
If only they could take everything from BF1, and make it as the standard for the next BF...
Theres loads of new players but most seem godlike with newly developed skills. I see so many low rank noobs with unrealistic kds its clear as to what they are doing. Also most have vac bans or low profile new steam accounts

PC is not representative because there is so much more FPS games. But admittedly, this shows a trend indeed.
You are talking about BF1 but that was the same, it was very good and it sells very very good at launch but the player base dropped a lot during the following month.
All I know, people are complaining every day, every time no matter the subject.

From a low rank players who knows nothing about gun mechanics, map layouts, gunplay, hitreg, desync, choke points etc id not expect them to be running 4/5/6 kds at ranks lower than 100.
It takes time to learn all of this regardless of skill level.

I wouldn't say that the game is dead bro. In any time, I can find a match but there's one thing: there are bots 100% but only in the morning (my timeline is Moscow). In other timelines, I see no bots

riding on the vehicles increases k/d. I felt it myself. In BF 2042, I have k/d 3.1 thanks to the vehicles. In BF6, my k/d is 1.6, and it's baaad asf

I think most games anymore are dying ( Multiplayer anyways ), with the economy being a joke because of the never ending war, tariffs on just about all tech stuff, even Playstation and Xbox are losing tons of money and struggling. I play the Division 2 everyday mostly, and at least that game gas active clans, but Ubisoft puts no effort into fixing their games. BF3 was my favorite for sure, NO bots, all humans and booming.. we may never see an awesome BF game again if any great MP games.

the last good battlefield was BF4.....1 and 5 were the real start of the CODification....
hardline and 2042 were better games then 1 and 5.....
