New Players:

Breakthrough: Attack/Defense;
- Attacking side is attacking, in other words they have to go sit on the red area to conquer the Sites A, B, C, etc.
- Defending side is defending, in other word they have to go sit on the red area to defend the Sites A, B, C, etc.
Doesn't matter are you on the Attackers, or the Defenders side, your team can not win if majority of you won't go into that area.
Everybody has been new to this at some point so no 'hate', I just wanted to 'remind' people since I've now been on ~6 teams (just tonight) where we get 5 people if VERY LUCKY who seem to understand the assignment. Just 5 out of 32. Both attacking and defending side.
Conquest is very similar, in that as well you have to move to the red areas in order for your team to win, if you can defend some of your own "areas" doing so even better.

I doubt that anyone is reading this, esp those that should.
And often players seem just not to care about obj at all. They just wanna snipe or camp with a tank or whatever. In Rush matches 99% of the time im the only one using smoke as attacker since BFBC2. Most attackers in Rush when they die a few times switch to sniper and stay at spawn. Thats why i gave up on that mode, players are just to stupid or just wanna play their ego game. Breakthrough attackers is somewhat the same

Maybe I've been lucky, or maybe we play on different regions, but my experiences both rush and breakthrough are different. Only times when we get a sht ton of new players the matches become like this.
Sure sometimes you see either your own or the opponent's team kind of give up but it's very rare imo. I don't really use smoke often even as a medic.

EU region here. I see it all the time. As defender its the same, when u need to take a point back or defuse. Smoke is the only thing that lets u take positions reliably, i wouldnt know what else works, defenders most times have the better position. Often i have to sacrifice my optimal combat gear just to be able to spam smoke all the time.
