Not in my experience but the MG14/17 low weight is definitely crazy for run and gun. Bolt actions are a decent counter to LMGs and generally anything outside of CQB. A good scout can shut down an entire flank solo. There's also the RSC rifle for medic, easily the best choice in any situation. 6 shots guarantees 3 kills if you hit them all in the torso and 1 headshot to kill means up to 6 kills with 5+1 loaded.

That’s good to hear but the couple maps was just lmgs everywhere.
