Audio suddenly cuts out

So after many hours of troubleshooting and finally getting this game to work, I now have a new issue that is completely game-breaking. My audio completely cuts out at random when mid-game. It just stops working. When I alt tab then alt tab back in, I can hear a slight "click" kind of like the click when you plug a headphone jack into an amp or something like that, idk how to describe it. To make the audio work again, I have to restart the BF1 client and then it works again.
Is this why the game was on sale for $1.99? It hardly works. and when you ARE able to finally get the game to open, game-breaking glitches like this ♥♥♥♥ happens.
