The game's profile image (for the Game Collector showcase) is missing. Considering it's a relatively rare removed game, that's pretty crappy. The profile image was there before (I had it on my Game Collector showcase for years). Any chance of it coming back?
Most likely some automatic update in Steam's systems bricked it and since no one is updating the game anymore it's unlikely it gonna be fixed.

You can only change the library image manually not the one that shows on your profile.
Yeah, sadly that doesn't help in my case.

i also have same issue, i am more interested though why games like battlefield 2 and etqw get removed from steam store when they are perfectly playable without online multplayer via bots. cant they just add notice that mp support was removed.

the thing is it is still available on things like ebay and it just makes it a whole lot more difficult to buy, and i am not sure if the developers of the game get any money from second hand resale of box copies.
They obviously don't, as far as the developers and publishers are concerned these games don't exist.
