Just seen Activision ended support for online features, is there any way to still play online ?
As Activision shut down the authentication / master server, online account creation & login is no longer possible, therefore Play Online that lists online servers cannot be reached. A slim community still keeps playing the game. Check TAW ETQW for more information;

Really sad.. Splash Damage basically copied the format for Dirty Bomb. I don't see how publishers don't see Quake Wars as a gold mine.

They are blind, no brains, and thinking only money like. EA > Fifa and Bethesda > Fallout76
if you can play a game in coop it will never die cause all you need is another friend and you are set

GOG.com
(Good Old Games). They revived Star Wars BF 2 from 2005, developed new patches, and brought the master server back online to restore the Multiplayer functionality and the matchmaking system. Its also available on Steam again.
