As I checked couple months ago, account reset option which reqires the license code doesn't work any longer. Besides, as ranked mode shut down in 2012, you don't lose anything if you create a new account. Just create a new account.
damn lucky there is offline mode.
Why do you need offline mode? Can't you create a new account for online multiplayer? Europe and North America has an active server for each region during the evenings. You seemed to be located in Australia; BBA and TAW NA servers should work for you.
