Is there a way to play the campaign on the original - "I am Death Incarnate" setting

I've been playing a bit of the campaign of late on REALRTCW 5.4 on I am Death Incarnate.
I notice the differences between this mod and the original game. Your HP is reduced to 50 and you can carry less ammo but thats fine.
The problem is with the enemies (notably the mp40 and fg42 guys) are laser accurate even at long distances and even when they are running. I've noticed that at times you get hit through corners of walls as well. On top of that the moment they start firing it seems like they have invincibility frames.
This kind of ruins this mod and basically boils down to RNG nonsense. It doesnt make the game more challenging just more annoying, I love hitscanners as much as the next person but not even Plutonia chaingunners are this cheap.
Is there perhaps a setting to play the campaign in the mod with the original I am Death Incarnate setting?
