Coop Missing pak0.pk3

AuthorSei-chan · 29 Jan 2021 at 01:18 · permalink

The solo version works just fine but when I launch Coop it tells me my pak0.pk3 is missing. Everything is installed in the same drive/directory.

Please send me screenshots showcasing paths to Steam, Realrtcw, original rtcw.

Thanks for replying. I had to reinstall RTCW and Real RTCW to the C: drive, then it worked.
As far as hosting goes the game needs to be non dedicated right? When I tried hosting under the "yes, over internet" setting the game would not launch.

Thank you so much. I will go through that right now.

Hey so I launch a hosted game with the internet option enabled and I get a list of texts instead of the game opening. I can host a game that is non-dedicated but then my friend can't join.

Please follow the method #1 from the guide above.
This is not an error, this is simply a console to control the server.

I've tried looking over method #1 from the guide. I followed all of the steps with no luck. The weird thing is that I was able to host a game with the internet setting on earlier this morning. But when I tried again with my friend it just shows that image above.

Same problem here, altought I have both RealRTCW and RTCW on same drive and same Steam directory it does not want to start. RealRTCW SP option works fine but Coop wont start.
EDIT: looks like I managed fixing it by moving both
RTCW
and
RealRTCW
to the drive labeled
C:/
For some reason it has fixed path to look for files on drive
C:/
and I store all my steam games on drive labeled
D:/
. That caused the game give message its missing
pk3
files even if they were right in the folder
