I keep saying I will listen to full albums and then immediately hit shuffle. Album people: do you always start at track one, or is this a level of commitment I have invented in my head?

First listen, usually in order. Later I do whatever I feel like. Nobody checks.
The album police have been very busy at my house.
Some records clearly depend on the order. Shuffling those feels like reading chapters out of sequence.
And some are a collection of songs with a convenient running time. I think the chapter comparison gets stretched too far.
I said some! I am not requiring a formal ceremony before anyone plays a favourite track.
I have learned that I invented the commitment and also started a constitutional argument about the shuffle button. Good afternoon.
