Before I get swarmed with " You haven't played in months shut up" My life has been busy I now have a new position at work which has helped life finally free up. Here I am tonight trying to boot the game up for the first time in MONTHS to only find out my PC can no longer play a game I bought and DID play at launch. How is this legal?????

Go into your regedit and add the tpm 2.0 line to your HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE in system 32. Just tell it you have it, thats all the game checks for before booting

All relatively modern CPUs from around 2014\~ onwards have a fTPM or Virtual TPM built into the CPU that can be activated in your BIOS, You do not need a standalone TPM socketed into the motherboard
Look up your Motherboard Manual for instructions on how to enable the CPU's TPM
There's instructions on how to fix it.
Honestly when I first downloaded bf6 I had to alter my bios to play it which I think is absolute bullshit tbh. If anyone slightly less computer literate was told that they'd have no chance of sorting it out..even with the instructions I took a few goes to find what I needed.
Same thing with the recent tpm update. It feels unnecessary.

Yes and no. You also need a newer hard drive with GPT format
What? I couldn't even play the beta because I didn't have it. My motherboard came out right as TPM 2.0 was being introduced, so none had them and I had never needed it for 10 years. Luckily it had a slot for it and I could buy the module for a few dollars and keep my rig going for a bit longer lol.

It's not a hard fix you just have to go into your PC settings before the PC fully turns on. It's not hard to fix, sure it's annoying.
But if your PC is within like 5-10 years old, you should be able to activate it.
