Re-Downloaded 2042 today…

I had more fun in 3 matches than I have in the last 3 months of battlefield 6.

The biggest thing for me is 64 vs 64. 128 players is so much damn fun.

A huge difference I noticed is for how big the map is you have people flanking and using other routes and verticality. In BF6 it’s a constant meat grinder of teammates running down a funnel and getting mowed down.

Being able to mark players easily and efficiently oh my god it was so nice, in BF6 I can’t tell you how many times an enemy has run right past my teammates to kill me or a teammate has literally run right past an enemy. I don’t know if it’s character design or what but damn was it nice to spot a group of enemies and have my teammates react to it.

It brought a tear to my eye when I was doing takedowns and actually got them easily. I still don’t know how you have a system in place from BF3 that worked 100% flawlessly and make it so it only works like 25% of the time. BF6 it’s a gamble whether you’ll do a takedown or tickle them so they know to turn around and shoot you.

I think I’m going to make 2042 my go to battlefield and only play BF6 on Tuesdays for the challenges. I’m tired of the meat grinder map design, brain dead team
mates, and try hard enemies. I hope more people return to 2042 and have as much fun as I am.


The biggest problem with BF2042 now is the size. BF6 being compartmented is so nice.

I came back after 8 months. I've noticed that the lobbies,while smaller,attract less hackers lol.

I did catch a team mates hilarious attempt at wall hacking. He unsolved himself when I started shooting at him

Bf6 is COD copy and paste 🙄

With bf2042 vehicle play can be really good. I got good at almost every vehicle especially jets.

I had much more fun in 2042 than i do in bf6.

2042 had better weapon balancing, better vehicle balancing, better maps, the best gamemode in battlefield history being infantry conquest which is still not back in bf6, less cancer ttk values, and so much more, it was literally just the better game.

I feel like the bf6 devs have never played a shooter before, the latest useless sniper is more proof of that, by far the worst sniper in the game for no advantage.

To me the best game mode ever created was Frontlines. But I agree with everything else you said.

Disagree. Played Breakthrough Chaos on Orbital and Haven and got into the action so much faster and had so many more options than in BF6. In BF6 I feel like players get to a certain point right before the objective and just stand there without pushing the point because it’s a funnel. Today I ramped a transport, my teammate grapple hooked to the roof, and another squad did a long flank and it was epic. Everyone was playing the game not just sitting there.

Nah. 2042 was a hot plate of shit.
