Why is multiplayer so HARD?!

Dice_Goblin · 13 Mar 2026 at 07:22 · permalink

Hi, I wonder why bo6 Multiplayer is so hard. I lose most gunfights and end up with KDS of 0.40. I wonder why this game is so hard, and why the game says I have High latency, Packet loss, and many other warnings. My internet is so bad, that my ping is around the 400s, with means, sprinting, and sliding is almost impossible. The game sometimes pauses, reading takes around 10 seconds, and hitmakers do not register. Is there a way to fix this?

Are you PC or Console? if PC, have you updated it? checked settings? are your parts outdated?

Are you on TV or Monitor?

Are you using LAN cable for your system? if not, this is probably the main problem.

What’s the speed of your internet service? this also plays a big factor.

Multiplayer is full of sweats who mostly have the best equipment and WiFi, it’s hard to kill someone with 10 ping with 200+ fps and no lag

Bro if my ping is above 40 ping I hop off or switch lobbies.

Typically, my ping is around 19-20 ms and it’s smooth.

Try two things:

1) Test your internet speed. If you’re on PS5 you can do this in settings.

2) Run a wired (i.e. Ethernet cable) connection and see if that helps.

Even when I had gig speed I had significant lag and packet loss at times with WiFi. Switch to a wired connection and see if that helps.

Anything above 60-80 ping is unplayable. But I can’t even stand a chance of winning a game without 19-20 ping.

Also— even with good ping packet loss can ruin it.

If you’re having problems with your Wi-Fi, I would highly suggest you check out a powerline adaptor. Once you resolve your network, then go back and do some more testing and come back to us.

My internet is 150 Mbps, and the ISP is Jio Fibre.

your internet has 2 "speed" there is download and upload , download is mostly for you now downloading games and upload is where your ping and your game is running if you have 150mbps download you probably have like 20 upload which is very very bad for all the new multiplayer games that require AT LEAST 50-100 UPLOAD mbps to run good i highly recommend getting a wifi tjat AT LEAST has 100mbps UPLOAD mine is 1000mbps download and 750-950 upload and i have 11 ping in warzone

Both download and upload are 150 Mbps.

Play with Ethernet cable connected to stabilize data flow. You on Wifi? Which band/channel?

Dice_Goblin · 14 Mar 2026 at 05:43 · permalink

I cannot use ethernet, because my parents do not like a wire going across the house, but I use 5Ghz internet, by Jio Fibre.

Adjust graphics settings to low . Shadows and water quality for example. Depth of field off along with weapon and motion blurr. If they have high and low within them set all to low.
