[COD] Activision needs to stop milking the Black Ops and Modern Warfare series.

Sure, every year they’re somewhat fun, but you also have dogpile of shit games like BO7 and MW2.
For one, I think that going back to your roots (like WW2 and WAW did) would be better
Second, Introducing new games that has nothing to do with BO or MW series, Like Infinite Warfare and Advanced Warfare.
Three, they should try to implement games they have scrapped over the years, like Devils Brigade and some other scrapped games.
And lastly, this will be about the MW and BO series itself. Every year it’s always a yearly cash grab if the game dogwater, and the fact the only thing carrying this is zombies is just bewildering to me. Over the past like 4 years, they’ve been completely focusing on the BO series and MW series, seriously, having a BO10 or MW6 won’t be far from the future. If they keep focusing and focusing on these series it won’t be how it used to be anymore.

BO7 wasn't dogshit but I agree with the sentiment

The issue is people bitched about change, people hated Ghosts and AW. I was an avid AW defender back in the day and it felt exhausting seeing so many hate comments it received. Nobody gave it a proper chance

I wanna see a sequel to ghosts, that campaign was left on such a cliffhanger, I never wanna see exo suits and jet packs in call of duty again either, always keep it boots on the ground.

Campaign I agree with

Everything else, not even in the slightest. Zombies is incredible and the zombies community is praising it a lot so if that doesn't tell you something idk what does. Multiplayer is severely overheated & I think you didn't touch it just like the majority of people

Most Cod players dont want anything different that's the problem. They dont want futuristic and they don't want WW2 for damn sure.

I don’t understand them not wanting futuristic in COD when BO7 is right there.

I'd love a game not connected to BO or MW from either IW or Treyarch. I've been wanting a WW1 COD for years. Could have so many cool maps with trenches.
I'd also love a Korean War game.

These would be great campaigns without needing to connect to the other stories.

Zombies is absolutely horrible you must be some kind of newgen player? The ‘zombies community’ is praising it? Yes, because there is no real zombies community anymore, maybe 100k people playing BO7 zombies if you’re lucky. Back in the BO3 prime days, when Jason Blundell was the studio head, THAT was the real zombies community, and there where literally MILLIONS of us. Millions of people left when they made the ‘modern zombies’ warzone like gamemode and never returned.

I don't care which setting they pick at this point, just end the black ops and modern warfare, the characters don't even feel good anymore. They just feel like a marvel cast larping as military at this point.

modern cods have always done better than futuristic cods

I would backtrack on that millions, I don't think you're wrong in a lot of people backing out once cold war came out but it also introduced lots of new players in addition to a lot of OGs staying. With that argument you can apply it to anything

Incredible was a stretch but my point still stands the community enjoys it

If they always keep it boots on the ground there'll be some sort of fatigue for majority of players, and for good reason. There needs to be variety in what gameplay each yearly CoD brings.

I agree with you on the Ghosts sequel part though.
