Morning all,
New to the COD franchise, over the last 6 months or so I’ve played Black Ops Cold War and this week I finished MW3 (WTF was that ending about!?!!, that’s a whole different topic though)
I really enjoyed both, but understand
A) the games aren’t linear
B) They’re very hit and miss depending on who the developer is, is that right?
Any suggestions for which game to play next?
If you could I’d play the black ops 1 campaign
Black Ops & Modern Warfare are completely separate stories/franchises (despite what people might say, the loose references to each other don't count as them being in the same universe)
I recommend playing Modern Warfare (2019) as that's where the current MW story starts from, and it's by far the best campaign in recent years
They are in the same universe though
If you don't mind slightly older graphics, you absolutely have to play the original Black Ops 1 and 2.
Only from MW19 onwards, the new canon involves the new MW series, Vanguard and all the Black Ops (only one of the BO2 endings is canon though) and Black Ops zombies too?
