is it wrong for me to enjoy current Call of Duty [COD]

my first cod game was technically Black Ops 7, and I've also played Black Ops 2 (Plutonium), and Black Ops 3 (just Zombies with my 2 friends). I also played the open beta for Modern Warfare 4.

im having fun in multiplayer yeah, but all I see is alot of people regularly hating on the newer games of the franchise. I know alot of people like old cod since it was better but I technically never experienced that. Well I do have fun on BO2 plutonium and BO3 zombies the same amount I enjoy BO7.

just feels like im like "oh cool a fun game" as most of its community goes "more NEW SLOP dear god its so OVER" like man i just want to play a videogame 💔

Why should you care about what other people think of your personal enjoyments?

The minds who made those classic games dont work there anymore - people tend to forget that lol

If you enjoy the new cods there's no problem with that. Their hatred for them is subjective.

I buy them every year mostly because my friend is super into the series. I like them all, they’re all pretty much the same though. Minor changes each year in speed of movement and ttk and that’s about it. New maps is mostly what you’re paying for. I can’t relate to the people who act like big things happened lol.

Respectfully you should never give a fuck what Reddit has to say about anything. It’s Reddit. an echo chamber of negativity.

If you enjoy the modern games and look forward to them every year, that’s all that matters.

Also remember that content creators that annually bash Call of Duty for content have a longer playtime on every game than most people. Put the two together

Honestly, this is just the internet these days....everything is for engagement and echo chambers. Social media has actively made the internet and world overall worse in my opinion.

I actually wanted to go back to the games I either didn't to play and the games I used to play back in my teenage yrs and for a xbox360 slim... Never had a slim.
For fable 3 and halo reach brand new console bundle for what used to be like 150$ on Amazon. Now it's life 200$ something.
And I play that on my days off... Currently replaying the while COD campaign series and me and the wife love it lol
She points out Easter eggs and other stuff I might have missed
Trying to 100% every game.
