Idk how I used to play this game

I played the crap out of this game when it originally came out, and I remember actually having a good time with it. But after playing the MW4 beta, I downloaded MWIII again the other night just to try it out again. Honestly, it was one of the most miserable, headache-inducing experiences I’ve had in a while.

This game has every single thing about modern COD that I’ve come to hate strict SBMM, disbanding lobbies, a billion bloated attachments for every single slot, ridiculous skins, and half the lobby running around with cheesy one-shot weapons. It was just a sickening experience.

To give credit where it’s due, the gunplay and audio are amazing. The hitmarker sound and the audio cue when you get a kill are probably the best I’ve ever heard in the franchise. But literally everything else was brutal.

I’ll say this if you’re looking to play a COD right now that isn't MW4 or tired of disbanding lobbies. I’d honestly recommend Black Ops 7 if you haven’t tried it already. They keep things simple with gun attachments and they actually have minimal SBMM and persistent lobbies. Would even say the maps are pretty decent. The movement doesn’t even feel as cracked out on BO7 either, simply because the lobbies are overall way more chill.
