How do any of you enjoy this game.

Always been not keen to try the game, all the gameplay I’d seen of it looked awful. Anyway, a few weeks ago I saw they made it free on PS4 for the month (not a good sign) but hey it was the only COD ever that I hadn’t played, so it was now or never.
Needless to say, me and my best friend hopped in, and immediately were just like WTF. Firstly the entire game looks more cartoony than an actual cartoon, 6 times worse than fortnite with the fortnite reskins. Totally abandoning realism. Secondly the sliding is insanely clunky and unrealistic unlike MW1 and 2. And thirdly the gameplay and gun feel of all the guns especially snipers is just horrendous, every gun sounds like a ray gun not an actual realistic rifle. Tried lots of maps, all were awful, but ones like Rust particularly stood out, it looks like someone tried to recreate Rust in Roblox and abandoned the project halfway through.
Some people swear by MW3 and I’m not trying to stop people having fun if that’s what they enjoy.
I genuinely am just so confused why there’s any reason at all to EVER play this awful game, it’s by far the worst call of duty ever created and it’s not even close. I played every single one, even AW, IW and ghosts were all PLAYABLE. Mw3 is genuinely so badly optimised and badly designed that it’s actually not even possible to play and enjoy.
Just wondering how anyone can possibly play this abysmal failure of a ‘game.’ Respecting all answers though.

Idk dude, I got this game on ps4 for free a couple weeks ago too and had a pretty solid experience on it. It’s a decent cod.

I only play Hardcore on MWIII and it's fun because the movement is quick & responsive, the guns feel satisfying to use, and it's basically 2 games in one (almost everything from MWII multiplayer is in MWIII)

You can try the classic map playlist so you only play on OG MW2 maps, which might be more enjoyable, but I found MWIII took some getting used to before I really started liking it

Only problem I have are campers and people using glitched guns

Also cod abandoned realism long ago back when they still had the balls to make world at war and mw2 and mw3 the og ones, if you want realism cod is not the fucking place to go, like a million other games like escape from tarkov that go more in on realism and ready or not where its peak realism, cods a arcade shooter now pretty much, also its ps4 what the hell do you expect lad? It aint gonna be entirely perfect, but ngl surprised I dont see mwz mentioned here at all

Campaign: I Launched Operation 627, but for 2 Seconds, The Screen Goes Dark and the Error Pops Up saying "Dev Error 11152". According to Activision Support, The Investigation is Underway

Multiplayer: I had fun playing the Multiplayer Game, Although the game is still running and was Cool

Zombies: Love it but the Matchmake took too long for Me to Start, When It Started and Played it, It was Awesome. then I earned my First Trophy in the Game.

Hey Kyle, yeah you make a decent point. That’s fair. But I played Bo6 and Bo7 extensively, they’re set in the future that’s why it’s not expected that they have ultra realism, the black ops series has always been set in the future aside from bo1.
Modern warfare 2019 and MWII were excellent and realistic, yeah the attachments system was rough but aside from that the maps and graphics and gunplay was good. It was realistic and they abandoned it for cartoony fortnite graphics only for the game to run way worse. My Ps4 pro can handle the first two modern warfare games just fine. There’s supposed to be realism in the MW series but MW3 they just didn’t care whatsoever.

Some of us don’t like hyper-fast slide cancelling, if you actually played anything from 2012 and before, there was no sliding because it wasn’t needed. At least MWII had a realistic slide that you couldn’t spam. If you’re gonna make a game series on realism, at least have it be real. It’s not rage bait, it’s simply the community that plays this game are all 9 year olds who just got their first COD with mommy’s credit card. Thanks Nikita for being completely unhelpful!

And hate to tell you this bub, but CoD's mp has never really been about 'realism'. Else you'd have cried in MWII about the bunny skins right? or in cod ghost, michael meyers?
