It's been 3 years since Csgo's servers went offline and I can't help myself but miss all the fun and night that I had grinding to reach lem 🥹

I am fine with cs2 i just miss some specific things that we had and don’t have yet
Lake and cobblestone man 😔
Lake was really fun for wingman
you name it, I played over 1000 wingamns on cobblestone
Went back looking through old csgo clips a few days ago, it was just different man
I don't think that you actually miss CS:GO (because for the most part CS2 is better game at this point), you just miss the experience you had 3 years ago.
The life is like that all the time.
The aesthetic, the player models, so good man
to be fair the game does play differently. its a bit more run and gun and holding tight angles is gone
i stopped playing cs2 early on bc of the smoke fps issue early on, and when i came back recently i found it quite difficult to play the same and do well
only after taking the time to lookup differences and taking the effort to readjust learned habits
That's true, I agree. You can't play CS2 the same way you have played CS:GO.
From my personal experience I got to admit that there was a moment when I started to think that maybe I'm getting too old and that I might never adapt to the way CS2 plays.
It definitely took sime time, but right now I feel quite good about this game (besides obvious like cheating etc.)
Rose tinted glasses.
Looking back on videos you can clearly tell how crisp it was compared to CS2. CS2 smokes are nicer though.
was the same for me. its getting back to that feeling of familiarity that i used to have. feeling comfortable in the angles i check, the way i peak, if i lose a fight, or a round i almost rarely dont understand why anymore
now that ive gotten more in the groove it definitely gives me the feeling that csgo did
but., i did try out movement shooters in between which i think helped a bit more with the transition. i used to dislike it but now i think its a happy medium.
