How can I prevent CS 2 from minimizing when switching to a second monitor?

Previously, you could change something in the documents and everything worked, then after the update this was fixed, but if you change the full screen to a full-size window, you notice a change in sensitivity and it becomes uncomfortable to shoot. Are there any other solutions?

It works, but the game feels different, like the mouse has a different sensor.

Borderless shouldn't make \_that\_ much difference, but you can try going to Settings > Display > Graphics and set Optimisations for Windowed Games to on

I feel that same feeling you describe, but it doesnt actually effect my gameplay.

About 2 weeks ago I swapped from 4:3 to native and started using borderless, ive since gotten 25k and my aim rating skyrocketed.

Borderless is totally fine, I feel no difference anymore and im playing great.
