So i want to make my account not f2p anymore, but idk which one should i do:
A. Should i buy anything from the mann co store to make my account not f2p/ premium?
OR
B. Should i buy the “tf2 premium edition package” thingy that costs 4.99$ and can be found when clicking on competitive as someone who has comp mode locked?

To get premium all you need to do is buy something from the Mann. Co store. The premium upgrade that you buy from the store is for the case that you would give it to someone, not for yourself.
A Tour of Duty ticket for Mann Vs Machine is the cheapest option, I believe.
You can also get a Mann Co. Supply Crate Key. The regular yellow one with that exact name.
Then (you can probably find a few more detailed guides online) trade it for Refined Metal on backpack.tf and use that to trade for every single unlockable weapon in the game :P
Buy a key, and then you can convert it to all of the unlockable weapons in the game on scrap.tf
So you can trade it for a bunch of hats, war paints or skins, you'd get the most value of that one compared to everything else by a large margin.
Buy a key and go to scrap.tf to auto buy all the missing weapons you don't have. Don't buy anything else from the in game store, it's a ripoff and only needed once to get premium. Better off trading though scrap.tf and backpack.tf for items. You can buy future keys from marketplace.tf or mannco.store if you need them for trading. Make sure to check prices on backpack.tf to not get scammed. I do most of my trades there anyway since most trading bots are right under the price info.

You just need to buy something from the in game store to unlock premium. People recommend a key since it's useful for trading.
Yes, you would be premium, optional? Depends, some stuff can only be obtained via trade but don't worry about that for now.
Make sure you get it from the Mann Co store in game and not the community market
