So no one cares that sony is literally milking their consumers? Ps5 now 1000$ almost. We don't own our games. Psplus is scheduled to rise exponentially in the next two years. No physical copies so Sony monopolizes the entire ps consumer network. They are literally testing how far they can push us and nothing happens so they'll push further until the bubble pops.

but also, the cost of components isn't their fault. prices rise because of AI data centers. could they sell consoles at a loss? yeah, most likely, but that would cause them to raise prices of their services and games even more

Plebians will continue to purchase their shit and nothing will change. Everyone is angry over no discs yet those same losers are going to purchase digital GTA 6 on day one. It's frustrating what gaming is now. The only thing you can do is just stop supporting Sony and seek out indie developers on PC. or just find a new hobby. I will not be purchasing a PS6. The PS5 is $499, the 1TB version is $649 and the Pro is $899, you've never owned digital game and you've only ever owned the licenses to physical games, read your TOS please this has been on every physical TOS and every single digital marketplace including Steam with the exception of GOG to some degree, no physical copies however codes in boxes and please read up on the definition of a monopoly, Sony doesn't control the prices of 3rd party games on their marketplace and that's never been a thing. Nothing will happen for the simple reason that no one really gives a shit aside from the people pretending to give a shit but will ultimately still choose to buy digital goods while pretending that them buying digital games on some other marketplace like Steam does jackshit for physicals.
