I finally decided to take a colorblind test so I could calibrate my monitor for gaming. I cant see approximately 1/3 of all color on the visible spectrum. I found out i was colorblind when was about 13 or 14. When my parents asked me to grab the green chairs from the garage. I said "what green chairs the only chairs we have are blue?"

Certain greens are more green than others
I can still see some greens. Grass greens still look normal but dark greens get iffy. Thats why it got a 50% score
That's not how the test works. It's just the Farnsworth test where you have to identify numbers arranged in colored dots.
The “grab the green chairs” story is such a perfect accidental colorblindness reveal. 😂 Your parents must have had a moment of “...oh.”
Imagine discovering you’re missing a huge chunk of the color spectrum because you thought your parents had been calling blue chairs green this whole time. 😂
It was the only folding chairs we had for a while so nobody bothered to call it by color until we got a few extra folding chairs that were tan.
Mine was first grade and we had to circle colored fish.
Would say do a couple more tests to get a good idea cause half the time they wanna sell you something, encroma sure as shit wants you to buy glasses.
On that note if you ever consider them really look into it, ive seen enough to convince me they barely do anything

I used to color in Thomas the tank engine, a famously blue character, bright purple. That tipped my mom off. 😂
I also had learned to read the crayon color pretty young, which I feel like no other child was doing 😂
They can still see green. It's not 0%. Color is a spectrum, it's just that they can't see some shades of green... like that green chair.

My college professor is fully color blind. He told a story when he realized he was because he used to color using the names of the crayons and the first day of school he saw a little girl peel off all the crayon wrappers. When he decided she may be a witch cause how does she know what is what now. Lol 😂
