Hey i've never owned a pc before ive always used ps5 and switch but recently ive been wanting to get one my budget is around 1200 dollars and im wondering if i should get a pre built or build it myself? also if i should get pre built which one should i get? if i should do build myself what stuff should i get for 1200 dollars? Thanks!

Normally you should always build, but with the current insane prices a prebuilt is the only way to find something that is not a complete ripoff

the market's so weird right now, a prebuilt with a mid-range gpu is often cheaper than trying to buy the card alone. just make sure the power supply and motherboard aren't some proprietary garbage so you can still upgrade it later

Another option is buy used and upgrade if needed. Less work than building from scratch.

Price markdown, actual listed parts so you can research them, good photos so you have an idea the condition.
