Really hope Luka can take home MVP this year. It’s his time to get one to join the likes of Jokic, Giannis, SGA, and Embiid, the players who peaked the highest this decade

Luka is only 27 but he’s been playing professional ball since 16 so there’s a lot of mileage on that body and I don’t see him getting any faster.
It’s possible he might not ever be able to win a ring even though he’ll always be on a top 3-5 team in the conference.

And with Wemby, Cade and ANT coming up his window for MVPs might be closing soon too even though I’m sure he’ll be All-NBA 1st or 2nd team at least another 5-10 years.

It’d be real sad if a dude who’s been able to average an efficient 32/8/8 over the last four seasons never takes home MVP or a title.

Defense wasnt a part of the mvp narrative until it was about how Luka didnt play defense. Nobody was worried about that with jokic, steph, harden, Westbrook, etc in recent memory.
