15f, I'm auditioning for a musical, and I'm supposed to sing 30 seconds of a song of my choice, with a verse + chorus being ideal. can anyone help me pick a song?

ive been thinking 'cups' by pitch's perfect?

ps, the musical isnt exactly publicised/decided yet

I think the best piece to pick for any audition, is a song that has something you understand and relate to emotionally. The more real the song is to your real feelings, the easier it will be to be emotive.

So sing the song from a musical you loce. That song that makes you get emotionally and tear up. Sing the song that makes you feel like it was written for you.

And then audition with all that energy.

If the song matches the vibe of the show, even better.
