If you don’t want generative AI in your games, just add a release date filter for anything before 2025.

But why?
ok crack
Fuck off.
Slop
People just hate the word AI regardless of how it’s actually integrated
Lmao it's so funny how quickly AI posts on reddit become little angry echo chambers. It should be studied
because the technology is incredibly volatile with an enormous tole on local energy grids and communities as well as it plagiarizing all of society's culture.
fuck off slop
What new slop are we talking about now?
As they should.
Ai isnt going anywhere however is it way overvalued. When you utilize it it will ad filler and bloat that is unnecessary and requires almost the same amount of work to fix or will cause more work hours down the line to fix. It in reality only makes someone who is skilled in the specific area maybe 20 percent more productive.
All AI companies are undercharging and have started raising the rates but are still now where near where they need to be to be profitable with the current iterations and pricing. It isnt going anywhere but itll be more costly to use AI then to hire an employee to do it right. AI companies were throwing out the option of having salaries with tokens that they would use themselves for the company, thus putting some of the cost burden on employees but that stopped dead on the water for obvious reasons.
Example: someone made an app using AI and it made everything he asked for work however he cant add anything because there was so much bloat and superfluous code in there if he tried to add a new feature it would break anything. The guy hired an it person to come and help and when he looked at it he said it was almost impossible for him to fit it without starting over.
We will eventually have an AI that can do it correctly yeah but itll be so expensive it wont be worth it. The amount of power the Utah data center was forecasted to use was the same amount the entire state of Utah uses, how much money do you think power companies collect from the entire state of Utah on a monthly bases. Thats just power not water or upkeep of constantly changing hardware to progress.
Thats not even talking about the face hugging incident.
Why?
The bots are out in force but the OP is right.
