[Lowest settings - DLSS5 on](
I compared highest graphics preset without NR to lowest graphics preset with NR.
There are definately ways to counter the performance hit. You don't have to set everything to Ultra.

Looks better without in this comparison lol
Look at the road textures and rendering distance.
Most games in general look bad with low settings. You can find a good balance of visuals and performance using a mix of medium or high settings, and always crank texture quality and filtering to ultra.
For me, it looks better with it lol

The only thing that looks OK in the second picture is the character. Everything else is muddled pixel soup.
set your dlss5 to 50%! no need to lower the quality
DLSS5 has a fix cost, reducing the in game settings wont change much.
Pointless without actually comparing the performance difference between dlss5 on with highest settings and then lowest, hardware unboxed already did this and theres barely a difference, same with upscaling presets, basically no difference between preset E, K, M or L bc dlss5 dominates the redering cost
There's still a limit to how much fps you can do for each GPU depending on the AI TOPs
Only resolution.
Absolutely pointless, since lowering settings or upscaling quality does barely anything in terms of FPS with DLSS 5 enabled. Huge problem of DLSS 5 compared to other technologies like ray tracing is that it doesn't scale
