Frustating for a new player

Hey, Escape from Tarkov player here. I bought this game thinking I was going back to BF3 era, looking for a more casual fps.

Im decent at shooting and playing jets but is it normal to get matched against a tryhard skilled team and have your whole night ruined? The game looks and feels amazing but its crazy how I can be 10 minutes on the game just dying without killing anybody.

Just asking if it happens in this game like this or its me. Im thinking about going back to warzone, just need a casual shooter to chill after tarkov.

You're coming in after a year though. People know the maps, have fully leveled guns and everything. What did you expect?

Every game has a learning curve this one is no different. It's also been out a while so most people have a feel for the map layouts already. Also, there are casual modes

Just play more. More play = better. Better = more fun.

Try Casual Breakthrough is a relaxed multiplayer mode in Battlefield 6 that mixes human players with bots.

I did the same thing. Just takes a little while of learning where to stand to not get sniped etc. keep at it bro 🫡

I really doubt everyone in this game is a pro. I actually was in different shooters, something weird is happening if I try to move to a building and theres : 1 guy sniping me, 1 helicopter shooting at me, 1 tank blocking the way and 1 jet camping our respawn. The fun in this game after a year is griefing I guess

Not always the case bud. I've been playing for 12 years on console and PC. Still a scrub lol, though I'm finally slowly getting better. Only fps I was actually decent at was BF1 and TitanFall 2 oddly enough.

You just described Battlefield.

You getting killed aint griefing. Shoot back.

The problem in this mode is that I drop 80K and it feels empty, when I play non casual modes I struggle to get 20, sometimes even 10 when I get spawn camped in the carrier mode for example. I cant even take a jet cause I get insta bombed

What would you say to a new Tarkov player that feels like they keep dying?

You’re new. The skill ceiling is high.

If you are decent at shooting you will get used this game. Just give it a little bit time and play around your team. Not every lobby is filled by tryhards. Even so it’s probably the best way to learn how to play this game.

Respectfully you just need to get good lol, if you haven’t played since BF3 that’s a long time
