After years of playing Call of Duty and finding myself wanting something more than watching cartoon skins run across my screen, I decided to try Battlefield 6.
BF6 looks amazing. The destruction you can do in this game, the different vehicles, and the map sizes have made me very happy. It’s a wonderful contrast to the small kill, die, and repeat maps of COD.
However, this game when it comes to shooting has never felt clean for me. I play on PS5 lan cable and it always felt, idk, disconnected. Between gadgets not works, kills not being registered, and many others it’s a game I find myself wanting more.
Now COD definitely has its own issues. There is no denying that. However, the general run and kill aspect I have to give it to COD. I find myself much more frustrated with hit registration or how a weapon can feel great one day and like a pea shooter the next.
To make a long story short. The things that make a FPS game fun are such a variable in Battlefield that it holds it back from its full potential.
