Shoot them before they shoot you
Get headphones. Put on War Tapes. You will hear them flanking you, sneaking up, everything.
They ported several weapons from BF1 so you might find some familiar faces
It has 2 major technical issues.
Sometimes the game thinks you haven't completed the intro and will force you into it on every startup
The rewards for class level progression are sometimes not granted. Either buy the class bundle or contact support.
Do the weekly missions, they sometimes give gold Battlefield currency for free
As Medic, use the command button (Q by default) on reviveable people to get a speed boost and tell them you are coming to save them
point gun, shoot.
Just play
Don't worry too much about what gun you use, most automatic weapons have very similar damage and the trade off is between rate of fire and controllability.
I wouldn't say it's completely different to BF1, biggest differences in terms of gunplay is that bullet velocities are faster, and generally the weapons have much less random inaccuracy but much more recoil.
Also if you hold crouch before landing, you do a roll, which reduces how much fall damage you take.
Type 2A
Play Breakthrough at first. It is a unidirectional mode and the action is mostly focused in a single direction. The playerbase has a lot of cracked players in it who can and will one tap you from afar, and in broader modes like Conquest etc, the frustration will build up fast. So I suggest playing Breakthrough for a few days till you get the hang of the movement and the gunplay.
Be around medics. In BFV you don't 100% auto heal by just taking cover
Keep your head down, shoot red flares above you, and death before disembark lol
Im really not a skin guy anyways so it fine
If you crouch before hitting the floor on great falls, you will make a roll to compensate most if not all of the fall damage.
Lots of glitches especially in HUD and death
Prepare to die soldier.
