I just want to start this by saying, ever since I saw the new skins being posted, and the comments saying how Battlefield is going down the Call of Duty route, all I and - many others can say in response to that is - you shouldn’t have bought the fuckin game lmao

‘Remember when they told us they wouldn’t do this and remember when they made fun of cod’ you seriously believed battlefield was going to stick to their promises and give us Milsim skins, MW2019 esc skins? ‘The corporation lied!’ No shit the corporation lied to you they want your MONEY and you fell for it, don’t blame the players for saying a dead space skin looks good, because in the modern world of gaming - you should’ve expected this

Anyone with an ounce of sense wouldn’t have bought the game if you DIDN’T want to participate in a game with silly skins, because you fell for a corporation blatantly lying to you, people that don’t actually care - and do find some of the skins interesting, like dead space, WWII, and (god forbid) the weird Airsoft shit they for going on, get practically bullied because of your own ignorance

You people are as trapped as a cod player is, you’re got this weird toxic relationship where they tell you ‘no really we changed this time trust us!’ And you’re shocked when nothing actually changed and you get lied to again, the constant whining is fucking tiring, it’s not even protesting it’s just blatant whining.

idk. this level of emotional commitment to video games is the bigger issue. like damn, it's a bunch of moving pixels. we all did it to ourselves 12 years ago with all of the call of duty, then we kept doing it with battlefield, and then did it some more with warzone, and then again with the world wars, back to call of duty for black ops, and now here we are with battlefield 6 pulling traits from CoD and the most recent MW4 CoD beta looked like they are trying to pull some battlefield traits. all of this is like believing in Jesus but arguing over how a service should go because you're methodist and those people over there are lutheran and then those other people are catholics. it's all stupid tribalism primitive b.s. You can play either game for the minimal upfront cost of the game and never have to buy anything else for it again and still enjoy the fuck out of it. meanwhile, if people want to spend their cash on lame cosmetics, good for them. there's more pressing things in this world than video games - it should really be one place we come together but somehow it breeds more division. and all over pity, first world bullshit.

yeah man its so pathetic and sad how far our standards have fallen, if this was in bf4 or bf3 you would've NEVER seen the end of the uproar but now everyone is going through leaps and bounds and make it seem like this is ACTUALLY a good thing. the battlefield I love is never coming back man and thats not even from a nostalgia perspective, this is all coming from a fairly new fan, this is terrible.

don't buy the game and do what though? there isn't an alternative to what battlefield games do. arcade shooters with open maps, combined arms, sandbox freedom. there isn't an alternative. a lot of people complain a lot here, but as long as the underlying reason is at least somewhat valid, their whining can and do actually affect what the devs do. sometimes

I don’t understand why people care that much about skins to begin with. Cosmetics have never been a factor for me in buying a game. I like the gameplay and mechanics of battlefield more than other shooters. That was the hard stop on why I bought the game.

No, I not even reading because you're sbout yo be educated. We were given a beta, a true feeling Battlefield. We had the rug pulled and were given a COD hybrid. We were supposed to be back. We were mislead.

Just don't buy the skins you don't like lol.
