Things new players should learn to benefit the team

1. In breakthrough stalemates you must get creative. When you die, look at your minimap. Some teammates get boats into a flanking position, the boat becomes a spawn point if manned. Do not keep spawning on point A or B and attacking the predictable front line. Or get in a boat yourself and make a spawn point for the team. Look at the minimap!

2. When the enemy has a tiger or hachi doing 89-2 , get your anti tank weapons!!!! It is shocking how many people just continue to get pummelled by good tanks without changing their playstyle. Get your panzerfaust, piat, or bazooka equipped, if your team has 15 players launching these things at tanks...the tanks struggle.

3. Provence specific advice. The jeep at the start should solely be used for strapping dynamite to and ramming the enemy tiger. There is nothing more hilarious in this game than taking out the tiger in breakthrough with a dynamite loaded jeep. Do not waste time driving the jeep straight at point A and jumping out, delaying the jeep respawn.

4. There are moments in the round the tank needs to be used in a frontal charge instead sitting back tank sniping. The point is to create chaos and confusion for the enemy. Learn to recognize these moments. It is always awesome when you are infantry struggling to cap a point and big dick mcgee charges in with his flamethrower tank laying waste to everything, the enemy focus on him as a diversion allowing you to move in and pick them off. Your tank is not always a sacred metal cage to be saved. The constant charge of tanks can be intimidating for other teams.

5. Master the fliegerfaust. It annoys the shit out of pilots and benefits your team immemsely.

Boat spawn points are really the biggest one imo. So many times in wake island or solomon islands i will get my boat spawn point into a great position for nobody to realise its there. Maybe 1 or 2 guys use it.

If you see an enemy pilot on the scoreboard with 23-0, don’t even think about it

Great advice, but I doubt how many players will actually take it to heart — after all, most people who get stomped by the opponent just cry and complain about ‘cheating’ without ever bothering to think about what they themselves did wrong.

On NA PSN, there’s not much you can do vs tank rocket glitchers on the ground. The team needs planes to knock them out but that requires a skilled pilot and opportunity.

Just logged off to eat but was playing against XVII Deuuz and his stack of homies. You can’t get to him on the ground because you have to fight through the stack. Barely can spawn in because he does it so much you’re under constant bombardment from rockets. He’ll hop in a tank to do it in every match.

Most stacks play straight up because they know they have an advantage but not XVII and its stacks - some of the worst BFV games you’ll have is against them because of it.

Just quit out and find a new game and/or start a new server. Gotta shun players/platoons like that. BFV is a fun game and it’s fkd up they ruin games like that.

Are there even new players on reddit?

They get 23-2 and they rage quit. I've seen a mf who 50-1 and did not respawn again throughout the game at defense wake island because their team is winning and no more plane to respawn and use.

i feel your pain

i admit some games are just unwinnable, but what irks me is when people give up! I always play to the end. I would give myself a medal if i could

Far out that is true comitment to the K:D ratio.

Agreed with the above, but newer players get stuck on KD and other stats. Noobs also get tunnel vision, like the guy army-crawling in spawn (you know who you are) ...When maps are stacked, even LV400-500 players get surprised when you do the end round, like Provence. Power drive a jeep to A and take them by surprise. The biggest thing is to keep moving and don't camp. You don't take objectives by camping
