I rarely touch Reddit so not in touch with the terms but I assume what people mean by this is someone who's a boomer that plays battlefield

But when I see it used it's always when people want the game more grounded and to its core ?

So I'm not getting if it's ment to be an insult because at the end of the day there are people who want it to stick to its core , grounded and some what simple maybe ?

Only because there is a new wave of you that hopped from COD or have played BF since 2042 or something doesn't give you the slightest clue how this game SHOULD BE

Not referring to myself personally (I have played since BC2) but respect the opinions of people that have played this for YEARS , way longer before even I did.

I'm quite old myself. But times change my dude. What worked in battlefield 2 would not sell anymore in this day and age. It's that simple.
And to be completely honest, i don't think i would be ok with battlefield 2's kind of gameplay in 2026. I have played battlefield for a long time and back then the gameplay was fun. But it has run it's course.
