Heyo, as the titel says. I'm not that up to date with BF6, but I loved the 13 Days at launch we could play against Bots and get progress with just a friend or even alone. Tsuru Reef and Wake Island are looking pretty neat. But I am too old and disabled to play in PVP. :)
It's wild how they managed to get full pve progression basically working in portal for 2042 and utter shit the bed with bf6
At this point I just accept I got rug-pulled and quit the game. There are better games to play than worry about PvP bullshit.
They are on their knees begging for RedSuck players,
"WHY won't you play our Battle Royale???"
Meanwhile us portal players (we paid for the game mind you) just get the cold shoulder...
Unfortunately, there is only "Casual Breakthrough" which do have a lot of bots, but there will be some players.
Which is just a confirmation that they do not want solo progression, in order to sell boosters and Battle Pass skips, since the technology is there and available.
We'll just have to wait until the game is not selling as much anymore, and they'll try to retain some players by allowing solo progression.

Casual Breakthrough, where I vs the literal same 5-6 real players every night, who are all level 3-500, treat every death like a personal vendetta that must enact the harshest revenge against me, and is nothing but frustrating since they are all level 300-500. I last maybe 3-4 rounds trying to rank up my poorly optimized low-level guns and just quit.
I miss Battlefield 2042 casual solo play modes. Casual Breakthrough is anything but casual at this point. I also still feel the AI in 2042 was much better and more fun to fight against.
Not officially, no. They also seem to have removed the original information that we'd be able to play solo against bots, and it working the same as PVP. I'm personally not expecting the feature to come back.
They launched will full progression, then immediately disabled it as farm servers became a thing on BF 2042. After which they returned limited bot progression.
And then in BF6 they did the exact same thing, launched with full progression, immediately panicked as farm servers became a thing, disabled it.
How on earth do they do the exact same thing twice in a row lol.
Yeah like, the final state of 2042 portal is fine, hell I had a great time on it. I can unlock and have fun with weapons… I can’t go above a certain mastery… oh no anyway.
Sure I have all weapon attachments and vehicle upgrades… doesn’t make me a good player.
Hell, even the “x amount of xp per minute” cap doesn’t even bother me.
The battledfield devs just have absolute amnesia of previous games when it comes to making new ones.
I just pop by every so often to check. I don’t think it’s gonna happen.
Should have made it that bots give 10% of normal XP or smth like that instead of the usual „play like you want“ marketing slop to then nerf and break everything they promised
Can we not waste DICE time worrying about this PvE bullshit? If casual isn’t good enough you actually want to play a different game.. can you not PvE in portal?
It seems it's too difficult to implement the Full XP, Moderate XP, and Restricted XP model they use in BF2042 to manage the BF6 Portal experience XP and progression capabilities, depending on the way the experience is configured.
Causal breakthrough is probably all you will get.
