8 months later, and they still have not said anything about PVE play in Portal...

Crazy, I would have thought for sure with the fairly decent sized response from players, they would have added it back, or at the very least explained why they are so adamant against it. Is this really all about greed? It cant be because they are anti-bot, seeing as people are still complaing about bots filling up public servers, and they have done nothing about that.

Do you guys think we will ever get an official response from the devs on why they cant just copy and paste the 2042 Portal system, and how that handled solo bot matches without them turning into bot farms? Seems like a fairly easy solution that would satisfy all of us.

They only address stuff that they already planned out. No real communication, tons of stuff is just blatantly ignored. It's all a script, get ready to buy battlefield 7, ohh and have you bought the battlepass yet?!?

Truly sad stuff. Its ashame because the game itself is fun. But im just tired of their nonsense. There is no good reason PVE shouldnt exist since it worked perfectly fine in their previous game.

For real, the potential is there.

A BF2042 style solo/coop should have been in BF6 at launch instead they opted to limit it to portal only for them to pretty much pull a bait and switch just weeks later.

It's obvious that they don't care about solo players wanting a PvE experience.

Yeah it was extremely slimey. I had over 2hrs played by the time they pulled that bait and switch, so steam denied my refund.

It was a triple lesson for me
1. Don't preorder games
2. Don't buy EA games
3. Some communities really are miserable, eg many BF players being HAPPY we got scammed

Yeah that was something really odd to me. BF6 players are happy to demean anyone who prefers bots over pvp. We paid the same $70 as them. How does how we enjoy the game affect you? Il never understand that. Il chalk it up to immaturity, or lack of intelligence lol.

I check in every once and awhile. I havent played since all the workarounds stopped in December. Thankfully games like Insurgency Sandstorm scratch that pve itch. But id still like to have pve in BF6. I played it exclusively in 2042. It was fun for me.

I was hoping and hoping but after the last update... I even didnt update the game and im even planning to uninstall it and until i see something about PVE. Like i think month ago or two i wrote a post about how in BF2042 you have such a big freedom to make yourself a server with alot bots and XP and playing with hours and its not getting boring like till today still im playing BF2042 like that. Still i cant understand why we cant have that freedom with bots in BF6 and as i see it maybe we wont get it and its annoying because we paid $70 for this dogshit. Its fine they are loosing like that! And as i see they dont care about the amount of players that they lost just look the amount they had when the game was released and now... Disaster. Even there to be some legit good server created by someone soon or later it will be nuked from this dumb company because they think players are farming XP like that. Already i have 1% hope that they gonna do about it for sure they gonna keep like that until its too late...

I wonder if this has anything to do with EA being bought out by the Saudis. They are a sadistic bunch, so this move (bait and switch) is on brand. I'll never buy anything from them again.

We can't even favorite Portal servers/experiences until after the server browser releases during season 5. Such a bummer.

EA/DICE lost me for life. The only other series i enjoyed was Battlefront, but i dont see them making another one for awhile, if at all.
