My PC doesn’t support TPM 2.0\*. With today’s QOL update, I think it became mandatory so I will see you all very soon when I get a new pc.
\*I checked every option so I’m convinced my pc is just old 😄

Dammm homie 😢
firmware tpm is an option, and also how old is your PC? this has been mandated for a decade
I thought it was already mandatory since the beta? I had to go change my settings and everything.
It was like a pop-up at first, saying it will be mandatory in future, I guess they day has come
8 years old, I know the thing but I watched tons of videos and none of it helped me
What options have you checked? Made sure your BIOS is up to date? Sometimes on the BIOS it can be called fTPM on AMD and Intel PTT on Intel boards. I am sure you have exhausted your options before making the post, but figured I would ask.
if its only 8 years old and assuming a windows device, it should have had the hardware required. you checked your bios?
I will re-check every option again, just to be sure. However, I couldn’t remember which options I looked into, I was following those videos but no solution
8 years old is right about on the line where it would not support Win11 and may not have the firmware capability for TPM 2.0. It’s plausible.
Win11 not supported btw
they mandated it with windows 10 and all pcs running windows released from 2016 onward were mandated to have the hardware required from what i recall though
Yeah, then you probably are correct in that your hardware just does not support TPM 2.0. Depending on your motherboard though, you may be able to buy a physical TPM which would plug into a port on your motherboard, which would be a lot cheaper than a new PC. They’re usually well under $100. Something to consider.
They mandated (introduced) but with a heads up for all the players that dont have tpm 2.0. Until today, I was able to ignore the Tpm 2.0 warning
Update your BIOS to get it
