350h on BF6, played most battlefield games since BF2 in the original Xbox. If people are mostly complaining about skins, it means the maps and gameplay are in a good spot.

I only started playing in the last couple months. Played every battlefield since battlefield 2 but had a break for 2042. I am absolutely loving this game if feels amazing, super immersive
True, and the maps that were complained about will be fixed on season 5 (by expanding the HQ)

Looks like Sobek got a lighting rework and expanded boundaries, there’s an objective across the highway now.
Rooftops look like they are more accesible which should make snipers less of a problem.

Same. BF 2042 I maybe had 10-20 hours, quite a dark time for the franchise.
I'm now nearing 600 hours in BF6 and it's the only game I play (though I did try the Wardogs beta).
Yeah looks like the entire objective is on the central and southern rooftops, looking forward to trying out, I believe it will provide a unique experience.
I’d prob get flamed in the main sub for saying this, but Sobek looks incredible now lol. I think the lighting upgrade will make it feel like a completely new map too
Similar hours for me on 2042, it just didn’t draw me in the way this game has.
In all honesty, I like a lot of BF2042 maps more. Though, not saying BF6's maps are bad. I just thought the 2042 maps were more fun for squadplay and visually more interresting.
