Witch Version should I be playing for the best experience on modern hardware?

Recently downloaded it off steam and I been really enjoying my only complaint is finding a server with some people in it but other than that , I see a lot of you guys talking about a legacy version. Is this version better than the steam version if so why ?

Yes. Half the reason for this sub lately is to tell people to use legacy. It's more stable, there's more features, and it's still being updated

I believe that what people are mainly playing is ET Legacy.

64-bit version only works with 64-bit servers but there are many more 32-bit servers.v

sort of: https://github.com/etlegacy/etlegacy/wiki/Compatible-Mods

32-bit ET:L is good choice for compatibility with different mods while also being modern engine

for playing mods that don't support 64-bit https://github.com/etlegacy/etlegacy/wiki/Compatible-Mods
