I just installed and would love some beginner advice. I’ll be honest, sometimes I’m a bit lost on these huge maps, wondering where to go, what to do, and getting shot out of nowhere…
Anything from gameplay, HUD, input, etc. would be super appreciated. Thank you!
The best way to learn the maps is being an engineer and looking for all the things to fix and destroy. Also follow fellow engineers. With G you can pull up the map and see objectives in need of fixing or blowing up.
Those are just game sense things you'll pick up the more you play it, the more you learn the maps and the habits of other players. For a more simple game than we see in modern shooters, ET has a LOT to learn about the game
Biggest tip I can give you for aiming and shooting, is to get the small reticle you can. I personally like red dot, with green halo.
Also, does this game have pickups with smaller teams/maps for organized play? 15v15 can get pretty chaotic (but fun).
