So with the release of this new episode i thought giving Quake enhanced a try... but i noticed the movement seems completely changed?!

Seems like everytime i try to bh or strafe jump theres something slowing me down like a strange friction or something when i land...

Okey so I shall explain vanilla quake has ground friction thst slows you down every time you try to bunny hooe to make sure people can’t go past 320 it’s been in the original since the beginning and with quake world it did had that one friction as well but it got patch out in a update

So it’s a lot harder to bunny hope you have to learn how to buffer your jumps

If you’re playing multiplayer, it’s netquake with client side movement prediction, not quake world.

I hate using the re-release.

Minimum brightness is very high. It feels like there's severe stuttering and input delay in Vulkan (direct11 seems better but has some bugs with the recent update), movement feels different either because of the input delay or something else.

I'm just patiently waiting for ironwail to get patched to play the new expansion.
