PlayStation ending disc production in 2028 should be very concerning for Wolfenstein III.

We don't know what platforms Wolfenstein III, the final and currently untitled end of MachineGames' Wolfenstein alt-history trilogy (which the devs have begun early development of), but if it comes to PS6, you might as well start trumpeting Veilroth's cover of "We're Not Gonna Take It" to protest the upcoming doom of physical media.

"We're not gonna take it" was a very bad choice for the game. But its very fitting for this "protest": Feeling like you are fighting them Nazis but you are sitting in front of social media and shouting because the company doesn't give you what you want.

How was that song a bad choice? It was a great way to end The New Colossus. It carried a powerful, celebratory air of defiance.

I did forget to mention that MachineGames at least had concern for game preservation when it ensured that the Switch 2 port of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle would not be Game Key-Card and can thus be readily installed offline out of the box.
