PC build: is 16GB still enough in 2026?

Upgrading from a potato. Don\'t need ultra settings, just stable 125 on ET and playable BF.

For ET yes. For Chrome with 40 tabs plus Discord plus OBS, no.

I jumped to 32 and alt-tab stopped hitching. Worth it if you stream.

16 is fine if you close browser. Be honest with yourself about browser habits.

Server boxes are not your gaming PC. Different rules. For gaming: 32 if it's on sale.
