BF6 - Season 4 - Controller bug report

Hi everyone,
I’m posting this to bring visibility to a game-breaking bug introduced with the Season 4 update in Battlefield 6, specifically affecting players using controllers/joysticks.
Since the update dropped, weapons start firing automatically without pressing any triggers or buttons. This bug remains unpatched, making the game completely unplayable on controllers.
Troubleshooting & Tests Conducted
To rule out hardware, driver conflicts, or ghost inputs, I performed an extensive set of tests:
Peripherals Disconnected: Turned off both mouse and keyboard completely to ensure no input interference from PC peripherals.
Controller #1 (Wired): Tested a wired controller connection. Auto-fire persists.
Controller #2 (Wireless): Tested a secondary wireless controller (Bluetooth/Dongle). Auto-fire persists.
Simultaneous Inputs: Cleared all active input devices except one controller at a time; the issue remains identical across all tests.
Since the issue persists across different physical controllers, input modes (wired/wireless), and with all other input devices disabled, this confirms the issue lies within the game engine/input handling of Season 4 rather than local hardware or software corruption.

Temporary Workaround
If you are experiencing this issue, the only temporary fix I’ve found so far is:
Start/enter a match round.
Disconnect your controller (unplug cable or turn off wireless unit).
Reconnect it after a few seconds while already in the round.
Note: You will have to repeat this manual reset process at the beginning of every single round, as the bug re-triggers whenever a new map or round loads.
