Why don't punish players who rage quit?

Isn't equal player count the most fundamental aspect of balance? If you can't balance the skill levels, at least keep the numbers even.
I heard you're adding ranked mode to the base game. I can't even imagine how toxic the environment would be.

Because its a casual shooter.

Yeah the game is casual enough that it's unnecessary, especially given how long games can go on for. I'm sure Ranked modes will punish your score or something for quitting.

Because I don't want to play against Big chungus and his slug shotgun, Or Granny slayer and their scw10.
I also dont want the sniper scope glint district on my team.

What? You don't like 24 (20 + 4 bots) vs 32 matches?

I'd rather leave than stay in an already lost match where my team are drowning in their own drool, keep matchmaking punishments to ranked.

"People" like you are the reason multiplayer games are a dying breed. Stay in your mom's basement and stop complaining about how others choose to play the game.

Casual. Battlefield is a CASUAL shooter. Games that force people to keep playing when they're tilted become incredibly toxic very fast.
If you want that sort of gameplay, go jam some ranked CS GO or Siege.

I dont personally rage quit myself as its a casual shooter, but why would it matter, why does someone quitting affect you in any way in this game?

not sure i would support punishment, however what they definitely need to fix is how slow the matchmaking takes to refill those empty slots. this is what is happening sometimes:
4 to 8 people leave a team
snowballing effect either begins or is worsened
the game takes a while to refill these slots
the other team runs away with the game, the round is unsalvageable
the matchmaking is a little bit odd, ive noticed that when it does refill these slots it does it all at once, almost as if it gets flipped on all of a sudden after a period of inactivity, rather than immediately finding players as they become available

because people have a real life and free will and they know it's just a game and if they're not having fun in a game, which is made for you to have fun, you can just quit the match and search for another? Dude, go find a life, what a ridiculous question

Does "casual" mean it doesn't have to be balanced? Equal team sizes are a basic requirement for any game.

Keep it in ranked. I play bf6 to practice mnk aim and mess around with friends. No try hard like apex or something

8 out of 10 rounds started for me are already at or under a 100 tickets left in the match.......
until they can fix the clown matching making NO.......

Rage Quit? Why force players to play in a bad team and/or finish a game they will lose anyway? That would make more players quit. Only practicable in competitive gamemodes like BR ranked or Gauntlet.
