I have a 3080 Ti as well, and overkill settings can max out the VRAM and cause tons of FPS issues. Make sure you aren't running out of VRAM. I use Digital Foundry's optimized settings and never drop below 100fps
Other problem i have is when ads scopes more than 2x its like minus 30fps its INSANE
on a 5700x CPU with 32gb of 3600mt memory and a 3080 10gb NONE TI......at 1440p i can get around a 150 frames in most maps with drops to the 120's in large fights....with lowest settings
how i did it.....first real problem a lot of the hardware tweekers get wrong is turning on RESIZEABLE BAR in NgreedyA profile inspector when they need to use the options that is for BF5 and 6 that looks like its off to every other program and even flags it as off in profile inspector.....with normal rebar on i would lose 10 to 15 frames.....with the right setting that turns on what is needed but still flags it as OFF i gained 10 to 20 frames depending on map location.....(the right setting is in the drop down list for changing just resizeable bar in profile inspector) READ THE LISTINGS and you will see BF6 listed on one setting that flags its as OFF......with it set right draw distance works better with less pop in of assets and stops the freezing to hard stutters from sudden pop ins
next is not running some type of registry cleaner after every update for the game.....i use a old version of Ccleaner as the newest one sucks and does not even have the registry clean as a option......this gets rid of the choppyness and lots of the stuttering.....
after that a custom user config file is needed but its going to be based on your system and you are going to have to try every one on its own (this will take hours).....for me i watched a ton of youtube video's and started playing with what commands to include....after hours of playing with things the config file could take me from the mid 80's on frame rate to over a 120 by its self and to the 150's with everything done....
