Anyone know of a fix for your PC hard crashing while playing this game? Never had a problem before, but now whenever I play, a few min into the game my whole system will just reboot. I've been watching the thermals and that's not and issue, drivers (nvidia) are up to date, already verified game files.
The only other game i've had this happen on was because the game didn't render / handle the shaders correctly. The devs for that game eventually switched to a different method for shaders and the next patch fixed the crashing hard reboots.
Hard to say what's causing it with this game tho...
I think we have to hope the devs figure out a fix because I don't think we can do anything on our end...
turn off fsr completely, double check drivers and gpu, make sure bf6 is set to default settings in the nvidia application
I started to have this problem with the latest patch as well. No other games have any issues. Memtest shows no issues. No WHEA loggers in event viewer. Stress test of CPU and other components show no issues. Only relevant error outside of kernel sudden loss of power is : "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. Possibly related driver: ntoskrnl.exe." - which is pretty uninformative and vague. I'm seeing a bit more posts and complaints about this lately so I am lead to believe it is something going on with the game that was introduced with the latest patch.
Did memory test & tested temperatures, no problems.. This is the only game that crashes out of the 50 others games I have. Gotta be a BF6 issue.
Hard to tell what's causing it since my MSI motherboard always forces a hard reboot instead of a BSOD so no logs are recorded, with no way of changing this BIOS behavior.
i believe it. theres literally been nothing but problems out of this game. everyday its a different problem. floating cras, hard crashes, no optimization, bad servers, frozen black screens.. ive never had a game have this many problems. its worse than a bad indie game
True, seems like every patch just adds more problems to the game sadly...

If your on intel 14th gen then may be my solution will work for you .Down load intel extreme tuning tuning utility and put performance active cores on 52 you can also rduce voltage

your better off doing it in bios but its a easy fix my system rebooted after 10 mins until i reduced cores
Had an issue where the game would crash while loading in Redsec (not the entire PC).
I have a Ultra 9 285K w/RTX-5090...
Had to roll back my Nvidia Driver to 596.49
Works fine now.
If anything I would delete and re-download the game on a different drive. Just a thought.
