The HSS used to detonate grenades out of people's hands, you could even aim at grenades on the ground and neutralize them. Did they stop this!? I can't seem to do it anymore

It just got nerfed to hell and only has like 2 meters range now, while it used to be 35 or even 50 m.
Been playing with it for a while now and this seems to be the case. Not sure about rockets though
